1. Object and Scope

1.1. The present General Terms and Conditions aim to establish the terms and conditions by which will regulate the provision of services of organized travels by Bartilotti Familia Lda, , based in Rua Santa Catarina, N.º 36, 3.º 4000-441 Porto, registered in the Oporto Commercial Registry, with the single registry number 514908750 with a shared capital of 100 Euros.

1.2. The terms included in the Specific Conditions, if they exist, prevail over the current General Conditions, prevailing upon both any written stipulations agreed between client and Operator.

1.3. The services and products are offered to the Client in the terms and conditions here expressed.

1.4. By hiring the Operator, the Client recognizes and accepts all the terms and conditions established.

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of Bartilotti Familia, Lda’s (hereby referred to as DouroXperience) products or services. By accessing this Website and/or making a purchase you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Unless otherwise stated, purchases made through douroxperience.com to these Terms and Conditions; in all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.

Pricing – Inclusions & Exclusions

3.1 Prices shown on DouroXperience.com website are per person

3.2 Prices are subject to change until the booking has been confirmed.

3.3 What is included is stated specifically on each page.

3.4 Children under twelve years old are forbidden and teenagers from twelve  to eighteen years old must be accompanied by an adult.

3.5 Unless otherwise specified prices include all local taxes, charges or fees.

3.6 Prices do not Include (unless stated otherwise) – discretionary gratuities to the guide, driver or tour manager, extra food and beverages.



4.1 DouroXperience.com accepts the following Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.

4.2 There is no charge or service fee to the customer for processing Credit-card payments.

4.3 Full payment is required at the time of booking.


Refunds & Compensation

5.1 Tour reservations are non-refundable.

5.2 If we are notified of no show or changes within 48 hours of the tour we will be happy to reschedule you on a tour anytime over the next year or generate a voucher so you can book it at a later time.



6.1 All offers displayed on the website can be booked online or by phone.

6.2 Customers who have purchased tickets will receive an e-ticket via email.

6.3 Customers should keep e-tickets for the purpose of having information about the tour easily available.


Special Requirements

7.1 At DouroXperience.com we do our best to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Also you must be in both physically and health good conditions.


Tour Information

8.1 We may, at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour, if we deem their acts or conduct offensive, or a nuisance to other guests, and we shall have no further liability.

8.2 We reserve the right to cancel any tours due to unforeseeable partners shutting down or adverse conditions. We also reserve the right to alter at any time any price, place visited, or itinerary owing to unforeseen circumstances. Every endeavor will be made to advise guests in advance of any alterations that are deemed necessary.

8.3 In the case of an event not being carried for any cause whatsoever, no liability will be accepted by the operators beyond the refund of the fares.

8.4 Should the guest fail to arrive or arrive late at the starting point or during the tour, the tour shall not be delayed in order to wait for the client and then no liability can be accepted.


Assurance policy

9.1 We have an assurance contract with Mutua dos Pescadores company that includes : personal assistance insurance, personal accident insurance, liability insurance.
