“I come from a bourgeois and traditional family from Porto. In 1950, my grandfather acquired three Port wine estates in the Douro Valley. Growing up in these imposing mountains with the Douro River flowing down below made me a nature and adventure lover.
When I welcome you to my beloved Douro Superior, surrounded by imposing mountains and vineyards swaying with the wind, I want you to experience the pure feeling of freedom that our boat ride conveys. It’s time to celebrate the peace and silence of this remote and exclusive region.”
